  • Grocery store: can be found in the marina. At distance of about 1 km from the marina you can find several stores more suitable for big shopping. Working hours: daily 8:00 – 21:00 H. Fruit, vegetable and fish market is opened during morning hours.

► Before arrival

Not later than 5 days prior to your arrival be sure to fill in the on-line crew list form. The crew list link should have been provided by your agency, or by Adriatic Challenge directly. If you do not have the link, send us the link request on notification@adriatic-challenge.com

► At the base

  • Upon your arrival at the base you must register at the NIVA office. Registration includes the settling of all fees due and completion of documentation to ensure a quick check-in.
  • Do not forget the following documents:
    • skipper’s license
    • VHF license
  • A security deposit has to be paid prior to embarkation. It can be paid in cash, or by credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, DINERS, and AMERICAN EXPRESS).
  • Payments at the base must be effected only in Croatian currency (HRK) in accordance to the valid price list and exchange rate.
  • Tourist tax must be paid at the base (in cash), prior to embarkation for the entire accommodation period
  • Check-in can be done at contracted time
  • Only after detailed briefing with charter representative, you are allowed to sail out. Before you sail out please make sure that you took your boat papers from the office.

► During navigation and check-out

  • All phone numbers for emergency calls are listed on the first page, in a folder with boat documents. In case of technical problem on board during navigation, please contact our technical support in following order: 1. skipper or 2. base manager.
  • The electronic sea maps are not a replacement for official sea maps! Only the official sea maps are used for the safe navigation.
  • In the case of any damage, the base must be informed immediately. In case of damage on the sails, which can’t be repaired during the charter, the boat must return at the base the day before check-out, by 15:00 o’clock, for the service.
  • In case of damage please follow the procedure:
    • Inform the base immediately!
    • Exchange insurance policy data with third party (for liability damage).
    • Take pictures of the damage.
    • Create a sketch. It has to be signed by all parties involved.
    • Report the damage at the Harbour master’s office.
  • Check-out can be done on Friday between 14:00 and 18:00 o'clock or on Saturday between 08:00 - 09:00 oclock. Failure to respect these times will result in additional fees being charged to you for additional diver inspection services. Should you desire a check-out earlier than the contractually agreed time, you must advise base manager, by telephone at least 24hrs prior to your desired check-out. Failure to respect these times will result in additional fees being charged to you for diver inspection services.
  • Please refill the fuel. Failure to return the vessel's diesel tank and the outboard engine's jerry can full, will result in a handling charge of 100,00€ in addition to the fuel price. Please return the vessel with a full fuel tank and outboard engine fuel canister.
