One Design Sailing | One Design Fleet
Adriatic Challenge provides not just one but two distinct one design fleets for regatta charters. Our Bavaria 42 match fleet has 19 boats and the Bavaria 47 cruiser fleet has 10 identical yachts. Both fleets represent a considerable investment and are the result of an extensive and careful selection process perfectly suited for one design sailing Croatia.
With our experience as both a sailing charter provider and as sailing devotees ourselves, we recognized the need to deliever the best for our demanding one design clients. We wanted to ensure a consistent maintenance schedule to keep one-design integrity across each vessel while providing the most excellent experience for competitors.
Adriatic Challenge regattas with our one design fleet 's are something every sailing enthusiast should experience and have fun sailing on yachts identical down to the last detail. Both fleets were created by Bavaria Yachtbau, Europe's premier manufacturer of motor and sailing yachts. We've taken great care to keep everything the same across all vessels, right down to the sailing trim.
All the vessels in each
one design fleet were built in the same year and came out of dry dock with identical underwater features. We've made upgrades to the deck equipment from time to time, but these improvements have been made fleet-wide to keep the fleets all the same for

Bavaria 42 Match
The
Bavaria 42 Match is perhaps Bavaria's fastest yacht ever. This was our first one design fleet in Croatia and it keeps competitors coming back season after season. Having won regatta titles all over the globe and in Europe in particular, the Bavaria 42 Match has an impressive record indeed for one
design sailing Croatia. The 42 Match has a roomy, comfortable interior perfectly married to the functional necessities of the deck. The light hull is versatile and slick with a modified keel shape and provides excellent handling in even the most difficult waters.
Bavaria 47 Cruiser
Consisting of 10 vessels, the one-design
Bavaria 47 Cruiser fleet is an excellent choice for discriminating competitors. This versatile sailor is right at home in almost any sailing conditions nature dishes out. On deck she handles beautifully. The cockpit is both spacious and functional, allowing your team to work together perfectly while keeping the performance at maximum. You'll find a generously appointed interior with two heads, a full-sized refrigerator with freezer, and surprisingly handy storage compartments. You'll find your team able to perform their individual roles, solve problems, and capture the wind in an exhilarating way.
