TAKE 1 WEEK PRACTICAL AND THEORETICAL COURSE FOR BOAT LEADER’S LICENCE CATEGORY B EXAM.
6 days of practical and theoretical course with a professional trainer.
Learn:
- Basic terminology and principles of handling boat equipments,
- Adriatic Sea winds and meteorology,
- Navigation and chart reading, GPS, night navigation,
- Tying knots handling ropes,
- Getting familiar with basics of sailing,
- Mooring the sailboat with the help of motor and sails,
- To moor during strong winds,
- Learn how to handle safety equipments,
- Use VHF Radios, distress procedures,
- How to rescue crew members,
- Learn how to repair the most frequent problems,
- Learn how to inspect a boat when you rent one.
Boat leader’s license category B exam
After extensive practical experience, knowledge gained in this course will be sufficient for Boat leader examination at the Harbour Master’s Office in Biograd.

BOAT LEADER'S |
Boat leader’s license category B allows you to navigate a boat up to 30 BT with unlimited engine power. It entitles you for navigation on Croatian waters up to 12 Nm from coast.
Accommodation on Bavaria 42 match moored in Biograd–Croatia. Accommodation is ensured from Saturday till Saturday for all participants.

Bavaria Yachtbau, the world’s second largest Yacht manufacturer, has chosen Adriatic Challenge as the official dealer of Bavaria sailing yachts in Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and Albania. The recent take over of Bavaria by one of the world’s leading private equity investors Bain Capital GmbH, has lead to a new direction in the way the company will sell, and provide after sales service for their sailing yachts.
“First we will target the Croatian market, and later on, focus on the other countries in the region”, said Robert Lang, owner of Adriatic Challenge. He began the company in 2005 by acquiring a fleet of 20 Bavaria 42 match boats, establishing the world’s top one design charter race fleet.
Adriatic Challenge plans to stock new models at its base in Biograd, offering the opportunity for customers to try a vessel, and sail away as their new owner if satisfied.
